Hello to anyone bored enough to read this,

Well i'm Alek, i was presented with the whole idea for Project Dakota while on work experince in year 10. The company i was doing work experince with, set me the task of placing updates for Windows XP onto a CD to save them bandwith, and to see if i could do it, by the end of that week i have a system running around a bunch of bat files. After taking this code and tweaking it a lot Project Dakota was born under the umbrella of a Design and Technology assignment.

I've spearheaded the project since day one and it has been a much bigger success than i ever could have imagend as i thought the whole thing was so badly coded it would never even work, but low and behold it now has over 600 users! Without the other developers this whole thing would still be a bunch of bat files that hardly worked. Thanks guys!

On a more presonal note, i will be 17 in 2008 and i will also finish my final year of high school in 2008. My school is based in Sydney and in my final year i am doing: English (std.), Maths (gen.), IPT, VET IT and Design and Technology. I spend most of my time watching TV show re runs or listening to the same 190 odd songs over and over that exsist in my Winamp playlist, when i need fresh air i go and smash tennis balls with a cricket bat. Whenever im sick of being at home i go and annoy my friend Ayla and go and see a movie or something.

Anyway

I should probably be studying something, or coding the next version of Project Dakota, but as teenagers now days say MEH!
